windows media center crashes when record is clicked.?

Every time i try to record a show in windows media center (wmc), wmc crashes. I have windows 7x64. This problem just started yesterday. I didn't install any new programs or hardware. Any help would be appreciated. i cant even restore my pc to 12/9, because theres no 9th.
 
I have the same problem not exactly sure when it started as I've not be recording over the Christmas holidays. However, when I choose a specific program on the guide, or do a manual recording WMC stops and restarts.

Windows 7 - Home Professional.
The only thing I've added is to my network is Windows Home servers and I've removed any reference to those network drives. Just about ready to uninstall the software to see if that helps.

Pervious recorded shows work fine.
Also done a windows repair with no change.
