windows 7 google chrome?

You know when you click and drag up on the google chrome icon in windows 7 and then u get a bunch of recently used websites? and when you click on the website link its suppose to open a new google chrome window going straight to the page you clicked? well when i do that, click and drag up click on the website link, instead of a new window opening directly to that website a new window pops up and has this address C:\Windows\system32
