My family has a 2000 Toyota Sienna LE with 116K miles on it. We've had it for over 5 years with no major issues. Not too long ago I've noticed that the driver's side window does not want to roll up and only does so very hesitantly and then stops. I then have to wait for a little to roll it up another half inch or so. I'm guessing its either a short or a window motor failure but I don't want to spend the money to get it checked out because its not a major issue. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be and is there a way to diagnose the problem yourself?
Any input will be wholeheartedly appreciated. Thank you.

I guess the gear of the automatic window is giving up. Open up the door panel by using a flat screw to unlock the clip at the sides of your door and unscrew the arm rest to find out inside of your panel.

it's most likely window switch or motor. don;t go to the dealer you can get one alot cheaper. or better yet maybe the window is offline with the cable. unscrew the door and see if window looks attatched properly and if it is then it's what i mentioned. should be no more than $200 to fix. you can go to a junk yard and get one for maybe 20-30 dollars or a auto parts store that has re furbished ones for about 70-80 if you don;t wanna spend a couple hundred for a new one
