So, here's my problem, I have Windows Vista operating on 64 bits. A few days ago my media player, 11 by the way, stop reading my dvds and cds. Everything that's on my computer can still play through the media player but nothing I put in plays. I've asked my friends for help and they say it looks like I need to download a new dvd decoder and or new codec. I have NO IDEA what any of that mean. I tried to download the free decoder and codec but my media player still won't work. They say it was because I was playing alot of burned cds but my computer is less than a year old. I know nothing about computers and need my media player to work ASAP so I can continue my school work. Is there anyone out there than can help me with this problem?
