window fault with suzuki sx4?

i have an 07 suzuki sx4 and the gear has gone in the window - i bought this second hand and its missing a service stamp so apparently the warrenty is now void. can anyone advise on what to do now and on a service do they even look at the window gears!?!?!?!?
when i say gears i meant electric widow motor :)
