I'm an engineering student (biomedical eng.) and we don't really get into fluid dynamics in our curriculum. I've always loved wind turbines and have actually made my own by deforming a few plastic blades into a mold, at about a 9 foot radius. Anyways, I really want to learn the mathematics behind optimizing blade geometry and the overall performance as well as estimating power generation via wind speed. What are some good books / websites to learn about this stuff? thanks!
