wind-sucking/ cribbing question?

i was wondering exacting how bad is cribbing and/or wind-sucking for your horse.

it can be incredibly bad. on top of the ulcers mentioned by the other user it becomes addictive(much like getting high) not only with it destroy your stall/fences eventually they can become so consumed by cribbing thay they will lose weight and other horses may pick up on this bad habbit.
