U Unregistered Guest Jul 20, 2016 #2 Yes, an unlocked iPhone will work in other GSM networks. Only locked iPhones need to be unlocked to swap simcards. Recently, I suffered with a locked iPhone. Luckily got a permanent unlock from Unlocking4u.com and then I was able to swap simcards.
