Am I looking forward to this movie!

Tim Burton directs, Depp is Wonka, and the whole thing looks completely disturbed and insane.

So, should be great then!

I'm usually dead against remakes of classic films...but...this one is apparently much more true to the book. The Gene Wilder one was toned down apparently (but still brilliant)


It will however, feel weird to fancy Willy Wonka (Depp)!!!

Remakes, when done by the perfect people (maybe even the ones who should have had this in the first place, had time not worked against them) can be excellent. It's debatable whether Depp was made to play Wonka, although I can't think of anyone else who'd fit better. Tim Burton was made to direct this film.
