I heard that after 2012, 3 percent of what you get after you sell your home will go directly to the new Health Care System. If this is true then rich people will be spending millions a year to pay for their free health care. The average homeowner would probably pay more money from the sell of one house than he would have paid for health insurance his entire life. Does this ludicrous scheme seem right to anybody here? Is this even true? I heard it from a co-worker. They probably snuck it in the stimulus package somewhere without anybody even reading it before they signed it into law, like they usually do.
