Will you dance with me in the rain?

First take off yer shoes.

Dance with me in the gentle rain
Bound and bounce through muddy puddles
These clouds of Gray will pass too soon
Sing with the spirit of the natural sounds

Share the Joy of children laughing
Dream through eyes with youthful soul
The human form, clay molded shapes and curves,
Glistening skin, we'll both soon wear

Don't mind soiling, it washes clean
As do sins some might assume
Kick and splash but mostly play
Just don't stand and watch, get wet with me

We can’t escape pain, so why avoid joy?
Don't offer any lame excuse
Set down yer sorrow for a time
And dance with me in the gentle rain
