Almost forgotten was the sky's blue hue
Forgotten to me were the sounds of life
Of wind, rain, and leaves on the roof
Almost lost was the harmony of music
coming through the air to my ear
Gone was the feeling of the cool wind
Through my hair on its way to the west
Gone the feel of the rain on my skin
On its way to cleanse the ground
Missing was the smell of roses in the garden
Missing but not forever lost
Though humans forget, our soul remembers
And reminds us of that which we need

This is only a rough draft.
