Now I know there may be you little kids who may answer and say all you want about Kobe, Shaq, Duncan or Lebron.....but let me make it plain.....
Wilt Chamberlain averaged for a career
30.1 points per game along with
22.9 rebounds a game....and no you won't see his blocked shot numbers recorded because blocked shots wasn't a stat kept back in Wilts day....(but he was a good enough shot-blocker for the NBA to put in the rule of goal-tending...that rule was installed because of Wilt and Russell)...true he only won 2 championships but in fairness Russell who in turn won 11 titles played with teams of full of Hall of Famers throughout his career...on Wilt wasn't so fortunate to play with that quality a teammate..you put Wilt on those Celtic teams and I'm sure he would have done just as well.....and for you kiddies who think Kobe's 81 points was the greatest feat....Wilt scored 100points in a game....
As you start making comparisons to Shaq...remember...Shaq was considered a dominant scorer but he was never considered a dominant rebounder..(yeah he averages for his career 11.5...half of what Wilt averages...but Shaq never led the league in rebounding)....nor was Shaq ever dominant defensively as Wilt was....plus Wilt also is the only center to lead the league in assists, and was an athletic freak..(he was also a high jumper in college)
