I just want to know what's the worst-case scenario if you're "caught" watching english-dubbed anime in the U.S.
I've heard on some forums that subbed anime are licensed somewhere in Japan, and very few places in the U.S. Once it's dubbed, it's licensed to some big U.S. entertainment companies too, and since I'm in the U.S., idk if they would reprimand me or not.
I'm not really sure about all of this because I've never really thought about it. Is getting the videos removed from Youtube the worst thing that could happen or are there much more dire consequences?
