I purchased my Blackberry 9780 in May with Business Insurance. It worked perfectly fine until a few faults started to emerge, i.e. the screen blacking out, phone cutting out randomly. But today I had a major fault where when i make calls, it cuts on and off so i can't hear the person talking.
I contacted Vodafone and they said because it's insured they will repair it - if it can't be repaired, they will replace it with the same phone or a "phone that matches the specifications of your existing phone".
My question is will Vodafone repair/replace it for free of charge or will I have to pay? Some people have told me I have to pay the first ?25 of the repair. Also, if they replace the phone, what phone could they possibly give me?
I'm a little hesitant to make a claim as I've heard negative feedback about Vodafone's customer service. Thanks in advance
