Will Vodafone fix my phone under insurance?

Last May, I got a Samsung Tocco Ultra (S8300v) from Vodafone on a 24 month contract. About 3 days ago, the screen went black and when it came back on again there was white lines across the screen. Now when I turn it on it doesn't go past the start up screen, but when I touch the screen I can feel it vibrating as though I'm pressing menu, messages, etc. I have Vodafone Cover Me insurance but I can't remember dropping it or damaging it in anyway and the insurance says it doesn't cover any manufacturing faults. However, I checked the Samsung website and the manufacturers warranty is valid for a period of 24 months. So will I be able to get my phone replaced or fixed for free?

Sounds to me you will be able to get it fixed or replaced under warranty.
If your phone is still in it's warranty then yeah, they pretty much have to especially if you have not damaged it yourself.

You will send it off to them, and they wil have a look.
If they see any signs of you dropping it (dints, cracks etc) they will get in touch saying they cannot fix it under warranty and they will do it through your insurance, but you have to pay a certain amount of money (on mine its £25 excess to pay first).

That's what happened with me anyway! :D
It should be fine.

Best thing to do, get in touch as soon as possible! :D
