An unlocked phone? does that mean it was locked first. Hmmm.. u can unlock phone and use only certain SIMs. A few service Providers isssue SIMs that do not work on Unlocked handset as well. See if it works if it does not then U will have to change the handset and that handset should not be locked to any service provider. Since you bought their own Internet Plan, t should work.. $30 a month is expensive for Internet.
Call up your current service provider and ask them if their SIM is gud 4 Unlocked handsets. Their MVNO or ONO wudn't allow the support. Latch your network by switching off/ON the phone.. go to Network Settings and select the Network Manual not Automatic and select the service provider or under whose network they work on..
