Now that degrees are going to cost £9000 a year at many Universities, will fees still be paid by the government for courses in Social Work and Nursing?
Thanks
Thanks, so the answer is no, you have to lend up to £26000 just for fees? Wow.
Either pay the fee's yourself or apply to Student finance England to a tuition fee loan. You have to apply each year for this. They will pay the fee's direct to the uni and you only start paying it back once your earning over 15k per year.
You can also get maintenance loans from Student Finance England. You will get this three times per year. This also gets paid back.
You can also receive a social work bursary which is not repayable. I had about £4500 per year from them (again in three installments).
