Will this graphics card work for the Sims 2?

I have a Geforce 8800GT, will that work? Will any graphics card work if the card was invented after the game? The game came out on 2004 but I wanna use a card that came out last month can I?

of course that will work. It is one of the best video game cards ever!!!! All game magazines recommend it. No problem, the Sims will speed on your computer, but what is your ram? It has too be at least 1GB or 512MB to pass Sims 2 Qualifications

By the way, the date of the graphics card doesn't matter on the game. It might not work the other way around though. Game after card because the card might be outdated then
