Will this game work at all?

I have a Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic game that has 4 disks to it, and its designed for a laptop or computer. I think its not very new, and since I really really really want to play it, i found out its to old to play on Windows Vista. It says its a PC game, which might be why it doesnt work on new, updated programs such as Windows Vista and Windows XP. Will this game work on anything? Thanks!
 
Maybe XP, probably Windows 98. Try installing the game (if you can,) and then find the appropriate .exe file in the install directory, and right click it and change it's "compatability mode" to be XP or 98.
