B bassplayer_1313 Guest Dec 26, 2008 #2 looks like a good choice. l have one. mine is a 6 footer rated for 6 to 14 lb line. l use 8 on it. you might want it a bit heavier depending on the size of your pike and bass. should handle 7 or 8 lb fish with no problems.
