Will this be a hard relationship to maintain in the military?

I'm in the navy a seabee stationed in mississippi I deploy to afghanistan in Feb. She's not even at her first duty station. She goes to MCT in north carloina next week. We started dating right before I left for basic in January, then a month after I got out she went to bootcamp. I've seen her once since she got out of bootcamp(for a day).Please be honest. we're both 19 I've known her since the fourth grade. and I've been told to wait it out until she gets on her own to see if we we'll grow apart. There are no marine bases near me
 
You have nothing to lose by trying to keep it going and everything to gain. It will be hard but you and she should try and keep it together. Duty is tough by yourself. Stay together. And thank you for your service. My Grandfather was station there at Gulfport during WWI. My brother was Navy and liked it.
