I want to write books, fiction. Well, I'm American, only once been out of the U.S., and I read lots of U.K. books, such as the Lord of the Ring and the Redwall series. So I'm quite accustomed to the "English" spelling. I'm constantly finding myself writing "grey" rather than "gray" and "theatre" instead of "theater". So, will that affect my writing career if I ever publish a book? Will it matter that an American writes as though I'm from UK?
