Will there ever be a movie about the game/Comic [PROTOTYPE]?

I want to know cos i recently saw District 9 and thought "This is like a cross between Prototype and Half-Life or something." So will there ever be a Prototype movie? I think the people who made District 9 should make it. The same writer and the same directer.
 
Hopefully not, because video games never translate to movies well. Just look at Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter, or Alone in the Dark. It just never works right.
