Will There Be A New Season Of Chaotic Coming Soon?

I'm just curious because there haven't been any new episodes since "Secrets of the Lost City" ended back in February. I do hope that series hasn't become another series that was screwed by the network.
 
Chaotic is dead. The series never got all star ratings, and the card game it was made to sell, didn't do well enough. The company behind the franchise, 4Kids, is currently not in the finacial position to carry on the burden of that series.
 
I think that the card game did sell fairly well at first and I know it was really popular in Canada. However, it did leave the fad phase and then the sales heavily declinedl. That along with the fact that 4Kids can't afford to create their own shows at this point are why the series won't be returning. It is a shame since I think that they could have done a lot more with the characters and the series' universe, especially the world of Perim, but I don't think that they tapped into Chaotic's full creative potential.
 
I hated the original Chaotic, but once Marillion Invasion hit the airwaves my opinion on the franchise changed drastically, the animation went from crappy to snappy and the story seemed to get much better as well. Secrets of the Lost City was a great way to end the series too, the stories that the show told were fun and entertaining and the battles were often done really well, I miss the show a lot and wish CN still aired it in the mornings. While the show never got amazing ratings, it did get a good ammount of viewers for 4Kids when Marillion Invasion hit the air, the show would get between a 1.0-1.2 for most of it's run while in premiers and the show also pulled in over a 1.5 on many different occassions on CN's Saturday morning's once the show was picked up by them, so all in all I would say that the show received a fair ammount of success but was never the lead horse.
 
thats funny 4kids. personally, i thought with the second series, the animation went from snappy to crappy. Always liked the "pseudo realism" of the first animation, while the second style tended to not be believable to me.

But i stopped really watching it after the first season anyway.
