The last episode of season 5 is to be called the big one because apparently Dexter's executive producer Sara Colleton has promised that the fifth season finale is "big" and that "All of that will be converging, along with a lot of jeopardy that no-one could've anticipated, not even Dexter," she said. "The last four episodes are a freight train when all of those pieces start interlocking." Colleton also dropped hints about the penultimate episode, saying: "[It will ask the question,] 'Wouldn't it be nice if you could escape from your life?" She added that the season finale is called 'The Big One', saying: "When you see the episode, you'll realize what a great title it is."
So does this mean that Dexter is over since it appears that everything is going to wrap up in the finale? I assume 'escape from life' relates to death. Unless of course Dexter were to leave the country or something which seems very unlikely. I just don't see the Season 6 finale being called "The bigger one." So what are your thoughts?
