The phone has a sim card slot but no sim card since alltel doesn't use sim cards. When I turn it on it loads the alltel welcome message, but doesn't connect because I canceled that service years ago. If I buy the tmobile prepaid sim card and put it in do you think it will switch to the tmobile sim card service? And can I remove the alltel stuff from the phone?
