Will the same Blackberry Bold 9700 work w/ both Rogers and Wind networks?

Are they two different models? I know I will have to unlock it if its locked to a carrier (i.e. Rogers Bold needs to be unlocked before its properly usable on any other network) but can the same 9700 switch from GSM to Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) spectrum instantly? Or to the CDMA network?
