Will the Japanese gundam 00 ds game work with my DS?

I want to order a copy of Gundam 00 DS which is not available in english. Will it play in my US DS? Actually I'll be playing it in my US DSi come April 5th.

yes, japanesse games do work on the DS no mods needed or anything.
