my 93 yj rearend has been making noises similar to what drum brake shoes make when the are wornout or rubbing against the drum but i pulled the wheels and the brakes are fine. since i got it lastwk i have no idea where its coming from. i took apart the rearend and check all bearings and checkout fine although i found a random bearing pin louge in the diff under the right axle end spline which tells me someone repaired the diff before and the pinion shaft gear has small chips on it, i recently parked my xj for a yj and was thinking about swtiching the internals of my xj rearend to my yj rearend. i think this will be a whole lot cheaper than spending money on kits for my yj rearend or buying another rearend for it. will this work? i assume both rearends are dana 35.
