So, I've had zits ever since I was 9. I'm 13 now, and I have a lot of acne scars. I only get zits on my forehead, and sometimes on my chin and cheeks. That's very rare, though. Anyway, I have horrible skin. It's really oily and acne prone, and when I do get zits they stay for 4-5 months, maybe longer, and then leave scars when they're gone. I'm tired of having really these at unattractive zits covering my forehead. I feel like boys will never like me because of my skin. SO, for the past week I've been asking and asking my mom to take me to the doctor's so he can help, but she keeps saying, "He won't do anything" and buying me all of this crap that doesn't work and just makes my acne worse! I know she's just trying to help, but she won't listen to me!
She said she'll make me a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so my question is will he help? Like, will he refer me to a dermatologist? I just want to have pretty clear skin for once in my life...I have really low confidence because of my skin.
