I have been on the contraceptive pill for just over 2 years now and since i began taking it i have noticed a big decrease in my sex drive. I am sexually active with my long term boyfriend and i do not like not feeling sexually affectionate to him. A few days ago i went to the doctors and swapped from the pill to the patch (evra) because i dislike having to take a tablet everyday. I was just wondering if the contraceptive patch will get my sex drive back to how it used to be because of the lower dose of progesterone in them or whether it will be the same as the pill. Is there anything you can suggest if i am going to have this same problem with the patch.
Will the contraceptive patch help get my sex drive back to normal?!?
