Will the Chinese civilization die off a slow death were it not for US Dollar support?

I'm writing a report on various aspects of the country China and its civilization. During the course of my research I came across this wiki link

China ranks at a dangerous level on failed state index.

Without lot of ADRs that China is currently holding, can it survive the crtical condition?
