Will the Blackberry 9700 Bold cater for my needs ??!!!?

Ok, I am currently using a o2 XDA ignito which runs Windows Mobile. I am thinking of taking of renewing my contract with o2 and getting the 9700 bold. But I would like to know if it can do the same things I use my XDA for see below, thanks in advance.

Use mobile as modem for Laptop.

I currently use about min 400mb per month in data use too.
 
yes , it would . i have one and its runs smoothly

one thing about blackberrys though, if it gets spoilt and u send it for repair , it takes forever to get it back owing to the fact that they send it to canada for repair
