Hubbys graduated AIT last Friday but due to having the smallpox shot a week late, those heading to Korea got held over. Will the Army reimburse us for an unused non refundable airline ticket?
even tho it was there screw up when the guys were waiting for their shot they got sent back to the FOB which pushed there shot to be done a week later?
ALSO the sargents didnt tell them they would be held over till the DAY of graduation which was the day they were to be comming home
this wasnt a ticket to go to his duty station. This was a ticket WE had to buy for him to come home after AIT. Ive talked or tried talking to the airline and they wont budge on a reimbursement or a transfer in the date of the ticket. How are we supposed to get him home now? when it was the Armys mess up?
