Ok so I bought a stolen phone from a guy. It's a g1 btw. Their is nothing wrong with the phone it works fine and it's pretty much fresh. As of right now I have a prepaid sim in it and I want to get the "even more plus plan". My only fear is that when I go to the tmobile store they will want the IMEI and I'm guessing the person who originally had the phone reported the phone stolen or something like that maybe cancel the account or did a keep a lookout for this phone. But yeah anyways how would I approach this situation? Do I go to the store without the phone and say "hey my phone is at home but can I buy this plan and activate it" and they will give me the sim and all is done. But my main question I guess is will tmobile ask for the IMEI in order for the activation of the plan.
Will T-mobile ask for IMEI when I get the Even More Plus Plan?
