Will subs hook up to an 08 chevy stock head unit?

I have an 07 chevy RST single cab truck and I'm wanting to hook up my subs and amp out of my old truck without replacing the stock head unit. I was wondering number one, if they would hook up to the stock head unit, I'm unaware if there are RCA hookups on the head unit. If not, how can I use the stock head unit? And number two, how do I get the head unit it out? Thanks for all the help!
