...subscribing to a data plan? Basically, I would be interested in a smart phone that could use the Internet in locations were WiFi was available, but I'm not interested in paying $50/month for capped "3G" or "4G" or whatever for their data plans. Do they allow this or do the require a data plan to sign up? I heard one of my coworkers at work say that AT&T requires data plan to subscribe with iPhone -- freaking ridiculous.
