Hey, just today i received the first ever YLOD on my PlayStation console.
It's the original 60GB model from release day (backwards compatible)
I understand it's no longer under warranty as its over 3 years old.. but i've been researching on the internet and it appears that the first (60GB) models of the ps3 had faults and this was a common problem. I removed the warranty sticker as i was going to attempt to rescue my recently bought Call of Duty - Black Ops' but never got round to it.
Will they replace it for free? or will i have to pay for a repair?
