I'm getting ready to store my car for winter, and it won't be getting driven for a few months. I can park it in the garage, which is good, but obviously it won't be getting washed for that entire 3 months. The reason I'm asking if I need a car cover, is because a LOT of cigarettes and other substances get smoked in our garage, as we have a pretty decent amount of parties and people over. Will all of this smoke being around the car, and probably settling on the paint, and the fact that the car won't be being washed for over 3 months, have any negative effect on the paint?
Will smoke affect my car's paint? Do I need a car cover?
