will skype work on iphone with tmobile sim?

Hi guys,

I have a Iphone 3G locked to o2, I also have a HTC hero tobile contract phone. SKype doesnt work on tmobile htc, not sure why. however skype does work on the iphone o2, I would like my contract from tmobile on my iphone. so I am getting my iphone unlocked using this

Once ive done this, and i put my tmobile sim in my iphone will skype work on the t-mobile sim iphone?
