I know the semen softens the cervix and all that jazz, but I've also heard that orgasms help by contracting the uterus. I've never had an "o" during sex (but can do it on my own) no matter how good it is. I'm at least 4cm (dilated from a 2 to a 4 in one day), 37.5 weeks, and having very irregular but strong contractions and my baby girl is in position (head is super low). So....I wanna try having sex to get this party going a little faster, but i'm not in the mood, so if it probably won't help I don't want to bother! lol. wow, that sounds awful
