I'm on birth control and have been for over a year. I recently bought saw palmetto and maca root because i have acne around the times of the period and also hair growth on my stomach and my chin and i read that these herbs would help. I haven't taken them yet and now i'm afraid that they wil interfere with my bc. I'm 19 and i do NOT want a baby anytime soon so will I be alright to take these herbs? My bc contains ethinyl estradiol. i think it's Ortho Evra.
Will saw palmetto and maca root affect my birth control pills?
