Will running on the tredmill or stationary bike help loose lots of fats?

I am interested on loosing my fats (the fastest way) but I have some questions first...I am planning to do running on the tredmill for 30-45 minutes everyday.Would it be a good idea?I want to get rid of the fats on my stomach the fastest way.Any suggestions?
 
The treadmill will have more of an impact.
Try doing various cardio work-outs.
