will one year of course study for iit pre. exam will be good enough?

i am in 11th std and want to give iit enterance exam. Somehow i did not able to do it just after my 10th. Will i be able to cope up with 12th study and iit preparation. Is there any institute which can take care of both 12th and iit enterance. Or shall i join two year course giving drop to this year for 12th.
