I had to laugh when I read your question. It reminds me of one of the first things he did when he became POTUS. He took the bust of Churchill which was a gift to the US from Great Britain and sent it back to Great Britain. He installed a bust of Lincoln in its place. Now, the Lincoln thing was fine. But sending the Churchill bust back to GB was really STUPID!!!

No, the British embassy did not ask for it back and in fact offered to let Obama keep it for another four years, he turned them down anyway.
