I LA fitness a week ago but my bf found a gym for 15 a month close to home. I paid LA the first and last month but the registration of 175 hasn't been charged yet. Cancellation with money back and everything could have been done within 3 days but I didn't know that. Now I need to send in a cancellation form to close the membership but I don't want to pay the 175. The gym workers told me to just tell the bank my card was stolen so the gym can't charge me. I don't know if this will afect my credit score of if it will get taken to a collections agency.
