Or can we expect to remain a small part of the Union Flag?
Wales was granted an exception to the rule when the Queen granted the Welsh Dragon to be the OFFICIAL flag of Wales even though, OFFICIALLY, Wales is not a country, but a Principality.
Surely, Her Majesty could not be accused of nepotism...given her 1st born happens to be Prince Charles?
The Ulster flag is not recognised OFFICIALLY, yet is flown at all major sporting events... as decreed by theh Govt of the day way back !
Surely today, we should, indeed, COULD expect Northern Ireland to have its own OFFICIALLY recognised National flag. Southern Ireland has an Official flag, and, if the Queen can make one exception....
