Will next shipment PS3s resell for over $1000 too?

depends. If there are enough ps3's to go around this holiday then the ebay prices will go down fast.

Yeah, but a good portion of them will be sold by next shipment.

It really depends when and how many, I think they may reach $1000 but not much over.

Eventually the cost to owner ratio is going to settle down. There are a ton of people out there who might not mind having a PS3, but they don't want to pay $600 let alone $2000. Eventually the psychos that are paying $2000 for the console will run out, and there will still be a supply of asshole scalpers selling.
