Will my samsung sim card work in a pantech?

I hate my samsung solace but want a pantech link... I'm in a middle of a contract and I'm not close to get out of it.. I'm with AT&T.....could I buy a pan tech link and stick my SIM card in it.... And will it work... I need help and put a lot of detail! Also I don't want to spend a lot of money! I'm also considering to get a gophone, the samsung a177
